Wrap Around Care
We know how important the provision of high quality before and after school care is to our families, and so we provide full wrap around care from 0730 each day until either 1800 in the Nursery and Junior Department, and clubs until 1730 for pupils from Year 3.
Additionally, holiday clubs are available at the School in all holidays.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club enables you to drop your child off at the School from 0730.
Members of teaching staff supervise children in Breakfast Club, and the children fuel up on a healthy meal before getting stuck into the school day.
You can use Breakfast Club on an ad hoc basis, but we do encourage regular users to sign up in advance. Breakfast Club incurs an additional surcharge (£5.00 per day)that is billed monthly.
After School Care
At Edge Grove, we offer parents a number of after care options.
The Co- Curricular Department at Edge Grove organises a range of clubs that run after School each day during term time. At Edge Grove, we place great emphasis on an enriched co-curricular experience and our before school, lunch time and after school clubs are a vital part of this.
Details of clubs that will be running in the next term are shared with parents at the end of the preceding term, or at the start of the holidays. Parents are able to sign their children up for a range of clubs on SchoolBase. The School aims to ensure that each child gets at least two of the clubs chosen in a week. If space allows, then additional clubs might be possible.
Please see below a sample of the clubs currently on offer after school. Due to the evolving interests of our children, these are subject may be change from term to term but give you an indication of the breadth and variety of clubs on offer.

The cost of activities is kept to a minimum and we try to offer as many non-chargeable activities as possible. When activities are run by outside organisations, or if the activities have a large cost involved, these are chargeable at a flat rate per term, which is added to a pupil’s School bill at the end of term
Sibling Club
Junior Department pupils with a sibling in the Middle or Senior Department whose day finishes later may stay from 1530 – 1620 free of charge.
Holiday Clubs
We appreciate that you may well require childcare in the holidays too. Keen Beans run a holiday club at Edge Grove during every school holiday so your child can continue to be cared for in a familiar environment.
