The Nursery Day
The Nursery day is fun-filled and combines elements of child-initiated and teacher-led activities, spanning all areas of the Early Years Framework.
Children of this age thrive on and benefit from structure each day, and Nursery staff aim to provide consistency in everything they do.
Specialist lessons  – Performing Arts, PE, Modern Languages and Forest School – delivered by subject leaders from the main School site, happen in the mornings to ensure that no one misses out.
When weather permits, pupils are able to free flow between our indoor and outdoor learning areas.
Please find below an example structure of the day.

All of our Nursery children attend at least five mornings a week from joining, and many attend five full days. Some parents prefer to build up the number of afternoons over the course of the year, but we recommend that by the summer term, your child attends at least four full days so that they are ready to make the transition to five full days a week in the Reception year.
