About Us
Edge Grove, a vibrant and successful independent school for boys and girls aged 2 to 13 years, provides a warm, welcoming educational community in which pupils with a broad diversity of backgrounds develop a genuine sense of belonging and pride. Through the breadth and depth of its academic, co-curricular and pastoral opportunities, pupils develop personal integrity, confidence and independence to develop the key skills needed for a lifetime of success and fulfilment.
We are a friendly and dynamic community and a school with lots of history and tradition dating back the best part of a century, but one that is embracing 21st century learning and is very much forward thinking and looking.
Edge Grove is more than just a school which is open for the business of educating children between 8.00am and 4.00pm, it is a way of life. We are a busy and productive school in which everyone is expected to be involved and play their part, a community that enjoys celebrating everyone’s successes and is keen to help others too.

Inside the M25 and only 15 miles up the M1 or A41 from central London, Edge Grove extends over 44 acres of South Hertfordshire parkland. Our beautiful buildings and estate and remarkable facilities ensure that all of our pupils learn across a broad range of academic, co-curricular and pastoral educational experiences, developing confidence in a challenging, fun and inspirational environment.
